It’s Thursday, so that means another round of New Music. Here’s some new tracks we can’ get out of our heads.
1. Smith Westerns – Idol
Just in time for summer comes this second single from Smith Westerns’ upcoming Sound of Summer ’13 LP ‘Soft Will’. It’s a slice of perfect guitar based pop.
2. Moya – Come & Get It (Acoustic)
Filmed as part of her Secret TV Session, Moya gives a sneak preview of a new track. Expect to hear the full studio version soon!
3. Washed Out – It All Feel Right
Like all of us, Ernest Greene has moved on from chillwave. This dreamy teaser for his second album ‘Paracosm’, due in August, is all about the Beatles-y psych vibes, complete with strings, sitar and the sound of birds chirping.
4. David Lynch (feat. Lykke Li) - I’m Waiting Here
While we wait for a follow-up to 2011′s ‘Wounded Rhymes’, here’s a little bit of new material featuring Lykke Li. ‘I’m Waiting Here‘ is taken from David Lynch’s new album ‘The Big Dream’, but the acclaimed director did not have a hand in the minimal video, which makes total sense.
