Essex born, singer-songwriter Francis Neve has confirmed more London live shows for 2011. Francis and band will be taking to the stage at the East End’s Strong Rooms on February 9, High Street Kensington’s newest live venue, AAA on February 19th, the Best of Myspace night at the Bull & Gate on March 2nd and Camden’s legendary Dublin Castle on March 7. More dates to be announced.
Francis will be performing new material, plus music from his critically acclaimed debut album, The Second Time We First Met, released late last year – a mini album of subtly infectious emotive pop, which won over the likes of Clash, Music Week, Bearded, This is Fake DIY and For Folks Sake.
The first single taken from the album, Brian’s Drying Up was accompanied by a stunning lo-fi video which attracted a lot attention online. Here you’ll find it streamed on the likes of Clash Music, Room Thirteen, Stereoboard, and The Music Fix, next to features with sites like Access All Areas, Bearded and Gaydar. Other fans include Jazz FM and the BBC.
